As a teenager in India ( late1980's), exploits of PT Usha was known to every Indian. She was the track queen who had won lots of medal for India. Her missing Olympic medal by a hairs breadth was a famous narrative amongst many Indians.
It was only today that the below video made me realize how great PT Usha was. This is a must watch video.
It is terribly disappointing and shame that India with all the necessary infrastructure , money and coaches, no one managed to come close to her achievement.
Especially the struggle undertaken by her to reach that heights of sporting excellence, my head bows to one of the greatest athlete of India.
