Unacceptable Political Activities

Many knew the Ugly Truth of how leaders of political parties protect each other’s kin and business. But the Ugly Truth spoke out in open by a senior political leader is highly shocking.

“We had proof of number of leaders and also their kin but they were not harassed,” claimed Ghulam Nabi Azad, leader of opposition in the Rajya Sabha.

“We never came in the way of their business and they prospered..”

Please note, Mr. Azad was speaking about BJP leaders.

It seems erroneously Mr. Azad spilled the beans with respect to how leaders of political parties behaved few years back.

Another example of political leader protecting the kin of opposition party:

“In a controversial claim, Swamy had last week alleged that Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi was caught by Federal Bureau of Investigation officials for holding USD 1.60 lakh and white powder in the US in 2001.”

“Congress president Sonia Gandhi had then called up then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. It was Vajpayee who rang up then US President George Bush and got Rahul Gandhi released, a Hindi daily quoted Swamy as saying”

God bless Voters in democracy where they are forced to vote, explaining importance of voting.

Yes we will vote, but, It’s time to press NOTA button.

Less Busy Mind

There are two schools of thought when it comes to Mind.

Some say “An Idle Mind is Devils Workshop”. Others, Socrates, say “Beware the barrenness of a busy life.”

The basic problem associated with the mind is that it has trained itself to remain / pretend busy.

We believe mind should be always occupied with the daily rigours of a frantic life.

Mind creates fear of losing and fools us to remain occupied / busy.

I agree with Mulyadi Kurnia, It is in the nature of the mind to be restless and abhor “vacuum”.

Here a dialogue from the movie The Dark Knight Rises reminds about who can solve a challenge:

Bruce Wayne/Batman: Oh, now you're showing off.
Lucius Fox: Defense Department project for tight-geometry and pacification. Rotors are configured to maneuver between buildings without recirculation.
Bruce Wayne/Batman: What's it called?
Lucius Fox: Oh, it has a long uninteresting Wayne Enterprises designation. I just took to calling it the Bat. And yes, Mr. Wayne, it does come in black. Works fine, except for the autopilot. It takes a better mind than mine to fix it.
Bruce Wayne/Batman: Better mind?
Lucius Fox: Well, I was trying to be modest. A less busy mind. Yours.

I think what we have lost in this Cyber Times is Mindfulness.

For those who have forgotten Mindfullness, please read the definition:

“A mental state achieved by focusing one's awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations, used as a therapeutic technique.”

Let’s agree, daily few minutes, we will practice Mindfullness of the present moment.
